Whats the difference between Percocet and vicodin? - whats a strong percocet

Just a bit curious .. I know that both are acetemenephen oxycodone ... My doctor changed Vicodin 7.5 / 325 to 10/325 Percocet .. I know that the highest dose, but say what is the difference between them .. in the same mixture?

This is not really the same thing. Percocet Vicodin is hydrocodone and oxycodone. Percocet is stronger. Usually Dr. 's prescription Start 5 / 325 mg. Percocet. 10/325 is very strong. A standard list of drugs and forces usually looks like this:

1. Tylenol 3 w / codeine
2. Vicodin
3. Percocet
4. Demerol
5. Morphine / Fentynal

Tylenol is the lowest in the strength and morphine is higher.

Edit: The DEA classifies these drugs as a drug listed in Annex II. Vicodin (hydrocodone) is a medicine Table III.

Vicodin is a class 3 narcotic, with hydrocodone. Percocet is a class 2 narcotic oxycodone, a narcotic from a lot stronger.
